Vanadium inhibitor
Characteristics and uses
Vanadium inhibitor is a highly effective heavy oil vanadium inhibitor produced in strict accordance with GE’s GEK28150 standard. It can effectively suppress the corrosion of gas turbine caused by vanadium pentoxide produced during heavy oil combustion.
The product is an oily liquid and has good compatibility with fuel oil.
High alkali value and strong acid neutralization ability.
stable nature, non-toxic, no obvious deposition and agglomeration.
The loose ash formed after combustion is easy to be cleaned.
It is suitable for various fuel oil systems.
Product Indicators
Appearance Amber to dark brown liquid
Magnesium content (mass fraction)/% 8-12
Density (21 C)/(g/cm3) 1.0-1.2
Method of Use
This product has good fluidity, can be mixed with a variety of fuel oil, can be added with metering pump, or directly into the fuel tank. The dosage of Vanadium inhibitor is generally 0.02-0.1% of the fuel, depending on the vanadium content in the fuel, it is suggested that the ratio of magnesium to vanadium should be (3-3.5):1. If the content of Ni in the fuel is high, the use ratio can be adjusted appropriately.
Packaging and Storage
It can be packed in 25kg plastic drum or according to customer’s requirement. Store and transport away from fire and heat sources, avoid sunshine, prevent water inflow and collision, store in a cool and ventilated place. The stability period is one year, a small amount of precipitation occurs in half a year, which does not affect the use after shaking. This phenomenon also exists in other similar products.
Safety and Protection
When operating, pay attention to labor protection, avoid contact with skin, eyes and so on. After contact, rinse with plenty of water immediately and seek medical treatment immediately.
